„1958” to projekt, który odnosi się do serii fotografii zakupionych w sklepie ze starociami na
Bornholmie. Jest to kolekcja jedenastu czarnobiałych
klisz, pokazujących rodzinne życie
mieszkańców jednego z miasteczek na wyspie w latach 50. Fotograf skupił się na wydarzeniach
towarzyskich, wspólnych wycieczkach, pejzażach. Zatrzymują one pewien moment w historii,
jednocześnie nie wskazując jednoznacznie na miejsce ich zrobienia.
Zamierzam opracować zdjęcia w formie archiwum, które przekazane zostanie Bornholms
Kunstmuseum oraz stworzyć na ich podstawie krótkie narracje i prace wizualne, które staną się
podstawą do powstania książki (artbooka), pracy audiowizualnej oraz wystawy w 2015r. w Galerii
Fundacji Archeologia Fotografii w Warszawie. Stworzone przeze mnie w ramach projektu prace –
budowane za pomocą tekstu, przetworzonych fragmentów fotografii, oraz grafik – mają odnosić się
do sytuacji zamknięcia i izolacji związanej z wyspą i egzystowaniem w niewielkiej społeczności.
"1958" is a project that refers to a series of photographs purchased at an antique store on the island of Bornholm. This is a collection of eleven black and white films, showing the family life of the inhabitants of one of the towns on the island in the 50s. Photographer focused on social events, joint excursions, landscapes. They retain a certain moment in history, while not indicating clearly the place they were taken. I'm going to draw pictures in the form of an archive that will be transferred to Bornholm Art Museum and created on the basis of short narratives and visual works that will become the basis for the creation of the book (artbook), audiovisual work and exhibitions in 2015 at Gallery Archeology of Photography Foundation in Warsaw. The works, that I create during the project – built with text, transformed photographs, and graphics – will refer to the situation of closure and isolation associated with the island and someone that has to live in a small community.
